Schwarz IT set out to organize a 24-hour cybersecurity hackathon for teams of students and pupils across the country. Key issues included:

Providing 3 tiers of hints that can guide even a beginner through the solution, at a cost of their team's score

Ensuring 24/7 uptime without any interruptions

To meet these demands, CTFbazaar produced a Capture the Flag (CTF) platform tailored to the event’s unique goals:

Tailor-made challenges for 6 of the most common cybersecurity categories, each at beginner, intermediate and advanced difficulty

Real-time analytics and monitoring to ensure a fair competition and no service downtime

Fully redundant and scalable infrastructure with multiple availability zones

Failover plan to a secondary cloud provider if the worst were to happen

The event exceeded expectations and had full participant engagement:

Over 85% of challenges were solved by at least one team, lesser as difficulty increases, showcasing a good judgement of the audience

Real-time support was provided to players that had technical questions or issues

There was zero downtime for the duration of the event

After the event, a final ranking was announced, with teams celebrating their success and sharing solutions
